Making Strides returns to Midland for a Breast Cancer Walk

Team Dow is back at it again! Team Dow Employees, Family & Friends is a flagship sponsor of the event and has raised over $110,000 since the event first came to Midland in 2013. They are looking forward to another successful year by raising awareness, increasing important fundraising dollars, and participation in the annual walk in October.

5K Walk October 19th at Dow Diamond

Join the walk to honor the breast cancer survivors and caregivers among us and to educate others about breast cancer prevention and early detection. Registration for the non-competitive 5K walk starts at 8:30 am, the walk begins at 10:00 am. The walk is one day in October. The fight is every day before and after. You can help make an impact in the life of a survivor or caregiver.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than 300 communities to finish the fight. Every breast cancer walk and event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to honor those who have battled breast cancer, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our breast cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with research, information, services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.
