ANNA RUTKOWSKI
Personal Trainer
Anna is a Saginaw Valley State University graduate with a B.S. in Exercise Science and is also an ACSM certified Personal Trainer and NETA Group Fitness Instructor. Anna has been with Dow Midland Wellness Centers and Greater Midland since 2016. She enjoys personal training and leading group fitness classes. Her passion is helping each person to learn about their body and how to best help them through all aspects of their wellness journey.
Anna loves working with clients who are at a variety of fitness levels and goals; from moms looking to get back into the gym to clients hoping to lose weight and have greater enjoyment from daily living activities. As a mom of two boys, she understands the importance of being able to keep up with her kids and still being physically able to do what she wants in life.
CASEY SHRIPKA
Personal Trainer
Casey received her B.S. in Exercise Science from Saginaw Valley State University, and is also a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, ACSM certified Personal Trainer, and a NETA Certified Group Exercise Instructor. She has been with the Dow Midland Wellness Centers since 2014 and has always enjoyed living an active lifestyle.
After experiencing a couple of knee surgeries and the rehabilitation process, Casey realized how much she took an active lifestyle for granted. Her personal experiences are what inspired her to start a career in the health and wellness field, along with the physical therapy field. It showed her that anything is possible with hard work and determination and that’s something she loves to instill in people today. Casey enjoys working with a variety of clients from those coming out of physical therapy to athletes. She loves motivating others in their unique situations and showing them that with hard work anything is possible!
JAMES BRADY
Personal Trainer
James has been working in the fitness industry since 2007. He holds many certifications in the health and wellness field, including being a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Functional Movement Screen examiner, TRX Suspension Trainer & Functional Training Instructor, as well as being a Certified Yoga Instructor. James attended Saginaw Valley State University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Sports & Fitness Management and also played 5-years of college football.
James has a passion for physical activity and helping others. He loves working with all types and levels of clients, from elite athletes to total beginners. As a trainer his goal is to help improve the way you move, how you feel, and get you to your goals on the best path possible.
JASON KOESTER
Personal Trainer
Jason is a Central Michigan University graduate with a B.S. in Health and Fitness. He is certified as an ACSM Exercise Physiologist, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, and an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. Jason has been with Dow Midland Wellness Centers since 2005. With his extensive experience, Jason has designed safe and effective exercise programs for individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
Jason started his fitness journey in high school with the goal to get stronger for the sports he played: football, wrestling, and baseball. He believes that living a healthy lifestyle that includes physical activity, a balanced nutrition plan, and overall wellness will not only add quantity to one’s life but also quality. Jason enjoys running 5K races with Girls on the Run as his daughter’s running buddy.
JESSE MOGGO
Personal Trainer
Jesse’s fitness journey started at a very young age, running his first 10k at 10 years old, and learning how to lift weights in the basement at home before school as a pre-teen. After dedicating his high school years to cross-country running and wrestling, he was able to carry those talents to the college level. In 2017 and 2018, Jesse was ranked in the top 10 fittest people in Michigan through the CrossFit Games Open competition.
Jesse graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science; starting his career as a fitness professional, working in the rec center personal training many of the university’s faculty and staff. In the years since, he has spent his career teaching a wide variety of fitness classes and personal training everyone from beginners to experienced athletes. Most recently, he earned his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA.
JORDYN ELDERS
Personal Trainer
Jordyn is a Saginaw Valley State University graduate with a B.S. in Exercise Science. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Exercise Physiology with a focus in cardiac rehab at Central Michigan University. Jordyn is an ACSM certified Personal Trainer and has been with Dow Midland Wellness Centers since 2023. Jordyn also ran 4-years of collegiate cross country and track for SVSU while interning for multiple collegiate strength and conditioning programs to learn how to properly teach, evaluate, and motivate individuals.
Jordyn has a passion for physical activity and living an active lifestyle. She enjoys motivating her clients by helping them learn the background behind what fitness does for them and helping them grow throughout their fitness journey. She believes everyone deserves the right to good health and to be happy with themselves inside and out.
KAREN MISSIMER
Personal Trainer
Karen is certified through the American Aerobic Association International (AAAI) and International Sports Medicine Association (ISMA). In addition to her Personal Training certification, Karen also holds certifications in Total Body Strength Conditioning, Cycling, Kickboxing, Phase I & II Mat Pilates, Kids Fitness, Weight Training Consultant, Sports Nutrition Consultant, Barre, and Aquatic Fitness. She is always looking for new, fun, and hardcore workouts to keep people motivated.
Karen was an avid athlete and collegiate swimmer, so physical fitness has been part of her life for many years. In 2001, she competed in her first Olympic distance triathlon and has been hooked ever since. She continues to compete in triathlons and has gone on to compete in a full Ironman competition. Karen loves what she does and enjoys giving people ideas on how to live a healthy lifestyle.
KAYLYNN TESTER
Personal Trainer
Kaylynn has been with Greater Midland since 2017 and began her health and fitness journey in 2018 as a certified Personal Trainer. She holds her certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In the years following, Kaylynn utilized her wellness knowledge to assist in training a variety of athletes through Greater Sports Performance, while concurrently training athletes, in both the competitive cheer and track and field programs, at Meridian High School.
Kaylynn’s passion for fitness revolves around teaching individuals how to become their own version of healthy and strong. Her years of experience have allowed her to work with a diverse group of clients from all ages and levels of physical abilities.
MEGAN FINN
Personal Trainer
Megan has had experience in the fitness field since 2010. She was drawn to the field from her participation in basketball and softball in high school. Megan attended Saginaw Valley State University and graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science and double minored in Athletic Coaching and Health Science. Megan is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, TRX Certified Group Exercise Trainer, NETA Certified Wellness Coach, FitforBirth Pre & Post Natal Corrective Exercise Specialist and Pre & Post Natal Diastasis & Core Consultant.
Megan has experience working with a wide range of clients and athletic abilities. She loves to lift heavy and help others to feel confident in the weight room. Megan is a mom of three and is passionate about working with pre and postnatal women to give them exercises needed to have a healthy pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. She prides herself on pushing others to the next level and bettering their lives through fitness. Megan strongly believes it is important to live a fun and healthy lifestyle by maintaining the motivation to continuously achieve your goals while having balance in life!
MELISSA ERNST
Personal Trainer
Melissa is an ACE certified Personal Trainer and also a licensed Zumba® Instructor. Melissa enjoys all aspects of health and fitness, however, is particularly passionate about the Weight Management aspect. Her passion stems from her own personal journey. Melissa understands the struggles and frustrations that often come with weight loss and weight management. This led her to pursue an ACE Weight Management Specialist certification in December 2022.
Melissa recognizes that everyone’s wellness journey is unique. Supporting the client’s goals, Melissa meets each client where they are to help empower them with sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes.
RACHEL WEBBER
Personal Trainer
Rachel graduated from Central Michigan University with a B.S. in Exercise Science: Health Fitness, while also double majoring in Spanish. She is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Rachel began her fitness career as a barre instructor at a local fitness studio. She interned at Greater Midland and has been with Dow Midland Wellness Centers since 2016.
Rachel understands that everyone’s fitness needs are different and not everyone feels at home in the gym. That’s why she’s passionate about helping others find their own personal health and well-being balance. Rachel believes that fitness is about being the best version of yourself, one step at a time, so that you can continue to do the things you love with the people you love!
SHERRY COLLINS
Personal Trainer
Sherry began her career at the YMCA in Findlay, Ohio in 1985. Since that time, her career has grown as she worked in a variety of wellness environments including community-centered wellness, private, commercial, and finally corporate wellness. She obtained her first certification in 1988 from the American Council on Exercise and since has obtained various other certifications including the American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.
She has been with the Dow Wellness Centers since January 1993. Her passion for helping individuals lead healthier, more active, and productive lives is her driving force.
